3D in 3D movies - a change of heart?
Starting with a Quote from Manuel Marino:
----
Jeffrey Katzenberg, chairman of DreamWorks Animation SKG Inc., said all future movies from his studios will be made in digital 3-D. But today only about 1,500 of the 36,000 theater screens in America are capable of showing such films.

Well if you read my post on this subject a couple of weeks ago you would think that I was terrified to hear that all movies will be done i 3D/3D.....well I have had a change of heart here, well at least its in a changing process :-). I went and saw BOLT, and I must say that the 3D in 3D experience was quite cool. I will admit that I had a very...hm...suspicious mindset when I went to see this movie, not because its about a dog that teams up with a cat and a guinea pig, cause that is logical:-). No it was the 3D in 3D that I was worried about. At first all my apprehensions seem to be true, I had trouble focusing my eyes and my attention on the the screen and story. In time that changed and I actually started to enjoy the 3D in 3D. Yes this old dog can change, I feel change, its in the air, can almost tasted it, BUT I wont surrender so easy, I still believe that the story sometimes gets a bit chopped up by all the 3D things poking out of the screen.
In conclusion I will state that I do accept this new thing and probably learn to love it, but only in very small and suspicious steps:-))
love ya

Truckers-02
Hi there...just a little update on my never ending shortfilm :-)
Here is the first thumbnail of my characters favorite truck stop.
I think the whole story will be in this facility, it sounds strange but I haven't actually nailed down the story yet...Its Backwards I know, but better doing it this way than not doing it at all :-)
cheers

shortFilm - the REAL one
Today we are having the startup/kickoff meeting for the the other shortfilm I plan to work on. This one is 100% solid to be done, compare to my own that is more or less 0.01%. Anyway its going to be some hectic next few days....I'm Psyched :-))
We hope to find as many speed bumps as early on in the project as possible. Will also discus how much stuff from this project I can post here on my blog.
I mean there could be some copyright issues that would make posting a bit hard and in the long run for me very expensive:-))) or EVEN face death! if you read the copyright disclaimer very carefully :-)
