Tangled!!

Hi all just saw Disney's Tangled..

and I have to say it's one of the best animated movies I have ever seen, even with the music parts....actually those parts was adding to the experience :)))

the animation was flawless, the story was musical:ish but very good in its own universe, so to speak :))
I loved it and will frame-step the whole movie as soon as the dvd comes out...

big salute to all that worked on this masterpice, and especially to my friend Alli Sadegiani, he worked on it and his stuff rocks!!! Alli you are awesome :))

Mega Wrap Party (mini)

The big one was up in San Fransisco, due to the fact that MegaMind is a PDI production.
Still the "mini" party was packed and the free bar literally called my name....over and over again :)))
My Dutch friend Peer Lemmers feed me a couple of man-sized vodka on the rocks, that was pretty much the last thing I remembered .))

very cool place, loved the food - and the bar :)

me and my friends Ben Rush and Peer Lemmers...

same gang, just a few drinks later........)))

after the party some of us party animals continued, including Mr Lemmers and my very dear Jason Schleifer who was our fantastic Head of character on Mega Mind.

Mega Wrap Dinner

Mega Mind was a cross site project....PDI up in San Fransisco started the project and then we at Glendale slowly integrated into the project. It worked way better than I would ever imagine.

So anyways, Dreamworks took the Animators at Glendale out for a sweet dinner..

I took my old beaten up body for a shock-treatment a couple of weeks ago..

Hi there

got my first batch of shots on Puss In Boots, and they are really nice shots.
Its of course Kitty(I'm on the Kitty team.....dhhaa :)) and its a bit diffrent on this project compared to MegaMind. We tend to split shots in characters on Puss. I'm for example animmating Kitty but not Puss in my shot.... I personaly dont like this setup and are strongley hoping that this is just some weird idea someone had and that it will change... If not? well i guess I just have to shut up and animate :)

At lunch Dreamworks had one of its many wonderful seminars . Ted Thomas was here, he is the son of Frank Thomas (Frank and Ollie).

It was awesome to hear about what went on behind the scenes at Disney when it all began, how stuff was really done :) But even more so was the stories only a son could tell.

Jim Baxter how was co-piloting this talk said something very memorable. He said that these guys (referring to Frank and Ollie and the whole "9 old men" :) really invented animation and that we, as animators today, have the privilege to stand on there shoulders. This is something that I never thought about. It never really crossed my mind that animation, at least the type of animation I love to do, is actually not that old, and we should be vary grateful for these men that more or less started the whole thing. We should also aspire to take animation even further. I for one will admit that I get lost sometimes in the technology and deadlines, but "talk's" like this really takes you back to the roots and reasons to why you do what you do..... cause its hard work :)

there was some awesome pencil test from my favorite movie Bernard and Bianca, and hearing how those scenes was made and what it took to make it meant a great deal to me...

Ouch!! 110 degrees!!!

Yesterday the temperature hit 110 degrees Fahrenheit (43 Celsius). The heat wave had its center in downtown LA that had a breasing 113 degrees :)

Have to say that my body is not built for this extreme weather....come to think of it my body isn't really built for anything but watching American football and drinking beer, everything else is a struggle :))

speaking of football, one of my biggest problems right now is to choose the team that I will give my unconditional love to. First I was thinking of Minnesota Vikings, I mean Minnesota is the Swedish safe Haven here in US, but unfortunately there jerseys is PURPLE. I hate purple. I mean Vikings in purple what where they thinking?? :)
So I started to look locally and the weird thing is that LA doesn't have there own football team, but back in the day they had The chargers and there jerseys are navy blue and yellow....works better for me.

so I guess I'm a Chargers fan...... go chargers!!! :))

Puss in Boots

Hi there

finally I'm officially on Puss In Boots, it took some time, but Dreamworks has an extensive video-Library so I have use the "GAP" time to educate myself...but...Given that I have the memory of a dead old man I don't think I made any difference :))

So, I'm doing a test shot to learn the rig and get into character so to speak. I'm on the Kitty team, so I need to connect to my female side, and that's not going to be hard I mean I already look 8 months pregnant :))

I'm on whats called GAP right now, which means that I'm not doing anything at all....I'm starting on Puss In Boots the 20th of September.Cant wait for it, it looks really good.
Never thought that I would get bored with doing nothing, I mean doing nothing has always been something that came natural to me :)))

The Hockey season is gearing up in Sweden, I need to find a way to watch it from here, any suggestions are warmly welcomed.
Talking about hockey, I hope to get on the ice tomorrow. Training "hard" for my debut in the Dreamworks hockeyteam. Right now I can probably do about 15sec on the ice without losing my lunch :)))

So my two weeks of vacation is over and I'm back at the office. Now normally that would be on its best an okay thing, but now its actually great. I love being back and I just got told that I'm going over to Puss in Boots!!

The cat from Shrek has got his own spin-off movie and it looks really good. I only know bits and pieces about the story but the sequences I have been looking at looks amazing, which of course spins me in that familiar feeling of that this will be the project that they will find out that I cant animate :)) well lets hope that wont happen :))

I finally got all my hockey-gear when I was back in Sweden, so today me and Rasmus hit the ice like soap on tile-floor :)))

It was super fun, Rasmus is a fighter, he put me flat on the ice numerous times, even more so than gravity it self manage to do:)))

YES,,, I'm heading home for two weeks... cant wait, hate flying but getting to my family is making that totally doable :))

MegaMan is rocking, it looks amazing, I'm so grateful that I have had the opportunity to play with all the awesome animators, directors, CFX dudes, Render pirates, production folks and everyone else i forgot to mention......Dreamworks are truly awesome.

Had my first famouse people encounter last week.
We where sitting looking at a MegaMind screening and i suddenly saw this dude sitting just in front of me..

He looked strangely human, sitting there :)))
It looked like he enjoyed the show, he is doing the voice of MegaMind so him being there is perhaps not a surprise but I got a bit starstruck.

The MegaMind movie is looking better and better but there is still much to do and the last month i think is going to be busy to say the least :)

Yes I admit it, I was wrong....Toy Story 3 made a bundle of money.....haven't seen the flick yet but people tell me that its fantastic..
"Despicable me" is doing really good, and it should...it looks awesome...haven't seen that either....hmm...man since I started working on films I don't watch them anymore....weird!! :)
Same thing happen when I went working on Games..hmm..I guess line cooks wont run home to make a omelette either :)))

Just finishing of animation on MegaMind it's weird....cant wait to get to the theater and see my name in the credits...yes its a bit immature, but for those who knows me, maturity has never been my strong side :))

Yes the title sounds dramatic, and it sure feels it :)
Just a couple of hour's ago I left my family at LAX. They are going home to Sweden for 8 weeks.... its crazy....I mean you chase the kids all day, screaming about this and that, then you are to tired to talk to your fantastic lovely wife and whoops suddenly they are gone and you cry like a baby.......I guess its all part in the "you got kids, and now clue" plan......:) I just would love to see and feel all these fantastic things when they are actually here :)) On that subject, here is where they are right as I'm writing :)

hopefully I will join them for the last couple of weeks, IF I get my vacation approved..:)

Toy story made more than 85million....actually a lot more, and people tell me that its fantastic, I guess I just have to add to that 109million open weekend and go see it .)))

Both Dragons and Shrek are doing okay at the box-office, not super-duper awesome great, but really good...
In fact I think we need to re-think our expectations of what our movies will make money-wise. I think the days with 120-million dollar opening weekend is gone....THAT said, if there is a movie out there to prove me wrong I think it would be ToysSory3...not that I'm a fan of these movies, but it looks awesome and the marketing has been really good. So lets bet :) I bet that ToyStory3 will make 82-million dollares on the opening weekend. People and claim to know it all'ers is probably laughing at me right now.......well we will see :)))

Crunch Time!!!!! no official order yet, but I'm guessing its coming....:))

Well I guess it's better to go crunching now when my family is leaving for Sweden. That way I keep my brain thinking of other stuff :/

But crunch also means that we are closing in to finish the movie, not that I long for it to finish, just that I really want to see my name on the credits in the theaters....I know it sounds silly, but that will definitely force me to tears..:)

Not sure what project that awaits me after MegaMind, actually I don't really care, cause all the project that are cooking at Dreamworks looks freaky amazing....

I'm hoping to get some vacation back home in old Sweden, not sure its going to work out though....but I hope to get a couple of weeks.....
Vacation here is not what I'm used to. I mean in Sweden we normally have 5 or more weeks a year, here its more like 2 weeks, if you are lucky :)))

Jeezz just a copule of months left on MegaMind....time is a fast thing!!
Working hard to make get as much done as possible, this has of course made me neglected my blog.....but here is what have me and my family been up to the last couple of weeks..

My youngest daughter Mollie had her birthday party, she loved it.
Thank you all that made this event sooo fun....!!!

Summer is hitting us hard, and I mean hard.... so you know a 80degree day is a considered a very awesome summer day in Sweden...... here in LA we are talking 100+ .
Cant say that my seal-ish body is perfect for this but hey I guess it burns calories :) But California has a remedy for the heat, the beach!!!!

well the water was cold so I sent the kids in first :))))
AND the beach is a very dangerous place for the kids, just look at this monster. Luckeley for Rasmus and Mollie I was there to save them..... almost lost an arm there :)

Don't worries I didn't rough the crab up....to much:), just enough to send a message to his friends to stop running around attacking defenseless kids, and there dads :))) ...

Being a feature film animator is awesome, but its hard work, so I'm making sure that I have something to fall back on.....:))

Shrek - Wrap up party

Shrek 4(ever)

Man we first went to see the movie and it rocks, yes I know I work for the place that made it, so my judgment could arguably be a bit tainted :))
But still its by far the best Shrek movie ever, just go and see it :)

Now on to the WrapUp party...... its was awesome!
I mean free food and free drinks is a deadly mix and if you add awesome friends and there where about 2000 + of them in there, Thats just beyond repair :)

To be honest I have never been on a party as big as this, and the organization of the whole thing made you feel very VIP.....which I'm not that custom to, but could definitely get use to :))

Dragon hits 200

How to train the dragon hist and passes the 200 million $ mark..
Its remarkable considering its disappointing start.
Its also the first film in years to ever get back on the Box office first place after its premier.
Dragons will in all probability surpass KungFu Panda, although I think KungFu Pandas worldwide gross will be hard to beat...

So its no surprise to hear that a sequel is green lit and in the works.... I hope I will get the opportunity to make a bigger contribution to that movie than I got to do on the first one...

Shrek is hitting the theaters soon, thats going to be interesting, I mean its the big moneymaker for Dreamworks, and its been said to be the last Shrek movie...well I guess time will tell:)). Whats even more interesting is that I'm going to the Shrek "wrap up" party this weekend....its going to be awesome. Everyone at Dreamworks is invited, and I hope I wont make a fool out of myself.....to prevent this I have thought out a foolproof plan, just follow the one and only rule: DON'T be the first to get blasted, cause that's the guy everyone will remember :)))

Ramsus is enetring his 7th year, my god has it been that many years....jeeezz!!
well anyway. He wanted a Dragon cake and he got that!!

I'm of course working hard at delivering food and beverages to keep the young monsters happy and going :)

Fishing is perhaps not a Swedish invention, but its nonetheless very funny.

Just fired up the grill and my signature meatballs and the IKEA "prins" sausage is smelling up the place:). Had to fight of the kids to get the food on the table, that is how good my meatballs are, or maybe it was the sausages?? well never mind

we had a great time and thanks to everyone that helped make this a very happy day for Rasmus.... :)

I have been very busy at work the last 3-4 weeks, so haven't had time to update the blogg. In fact most of my postings here at my blogg are about me saying that I dont have time to blogg :))

Anyways, there is a lot of stuff happening. Today Pete Docter came to Dreamworks for the "dreamTalk" we have once a month or so.

He is Pixars secret weapon, well not a secret maybe, but still a weapon nontheless :))
He was a lot of fun to listen to.

I think it says a lot about Dreamworks that they invited him to come and talk, I mean I cant imagine Pixar inviting anyone from Dreamworks to pop by for a chat :))

Been working a bit on my little pet comic project when time given, so that I will definitely try to post stuff from that as It progresses.

I just saw the screening of "how to train your dragon"..

MAAAANNNN its freaky fantastic, in my eyes it's the best 3D movie I have ever seen.
Its like nothing I have ever seen....and you should know that I have seen a lot of the shoots already, I mean I kinda worked on the movie...still it Blew me away.....

and of course my 6 pixel big dragon animation in the end totally did it for me :)))

This movie is a classic, I just hope that the audience will feel the same and come to watch it....... cause I want to do a sequel :)))

To all you Dreamworks magicians that worked on this movie, I LOVE you :)))

This is soooo cool.

James Cameron came over to Dreamworks today for a Dreamtalk. He was great, he talked alot of the difficulties making Avatar and also on the future of the 3D scene.
Most of us agree that Avatar is one hell of a great movie and it was sooo much fun hearing of the difficulties and rewards that went into the making of it. One thing that I didn't know that James actually wrote Avatar back in 1993.....cool :))

We also got to ask questions to Mr Cameron, but I was to starstruck to do it :))

cant wait for the next DreamTalk :))

Well that title should stir up some feelings I would guess :)
Sure I'm looking to catch your interest, but the question is valid. I don't believe 2D is dead or even that it actually can die, the 2D medium is to fantastic. But its future on the big screen is in my opinion not to bright.

Disney and Pixar pushed really hard for "for the princess and the frog" and the movie didn't do well at all.
I don't think the quality of the movie is to blame, I think the format they choose is old and not appealing to there target audience. I for one never even liked the musical parts in the old Disney movies, and needless to say is that I still don't like it :))
Disney and Pixar stated that it was time to bring back the old Disney, and this is somewhat strange due to the fact that Pixar never ever done a musical, and I think that is something that served them well :))
So is 2D dead, well you tell me. I know that Disney is working on a "Winnie the Phu! " but its a low-budget enterprise compared to "the princes and the frog". I'm sure we wont see a 2D feature from Disney in a very longtime.

what makes me sad is that I think if they would have aimed for something new and interesting, instead of digging in the archives, I think 2D would have had a chance to sparkle again.

who knows, I could be wrong, it has been known to happen :)))

Yes, tomorrow I will be launched on my first sequence on MegaMind. So I'm quite exited.

Now to something really important:

Yea I finally found the lingon-berries. So finally my meatballs have there favorite sidekick.

I also watched the SuperBowle today. The Colts lost to the Saints, which is good cause I was routing for the Saints. Congrats New Orleans :)))))
But really the only reason to why I watch the game is then I can eat this tasty things:)

So now I'm hoping that LA Kings will take the Stanley cup and that my hockeyTeam back in Sweden, Brynas!! will win Elitserien(Swedish national league)

well I get back to you about how my sequence will unfold...

The coming week my Mega-mind "windUp starts". For the next few weeks to come I will get to know all the characters on the mega-mind show. That is going to be sooo great.
The Mega mind show looks great and the animation I have seen is awesome, I cant wait to get cracking on it...

The last week I got to go and see the secret room at Dreamworks, it was awesome. I'm not going to tell you anymore about it, cause it is after all a secret room :)))

My good friend Alli has just landed and he is in LA right now. Its going to be great to meet up with him and maybe I will get a sneak peak tour at Disney someday :)
He has had a rough time with VISA and stuff so I'm really happy to hear that he made it. Welcome Alli, LA just got a bit more "Bling" now :)))

Dreamworks top 10

Dreamworks have gone from a last year 46th place to a stunning 6th placement in the fortune top 100 places to work for. All I can say is that I agree. I quote Jeffrey Katzenberg here "We are number one the world just doesn't know it yet" He said that with a smile on his face, but I must say that he is more close to the truth than he may think. Dreamworks is without a doubt one of the best places to spend your working hours at. I hope I will spend many of those in the future to come..

A tips for all you folks out there, look out for the new "how to train your dragon" trailer. Its awsome :))
And look at this.

That is a great looking poster, those far-east designers know there stuff:) I bet you that you would never see something like that in USA, to little action. :/

Now to something completly diffrent..
Carlos Baena is one of the best animator in the world. Never meet him but he seems to be a very nice guy. Not only is he a superb animator he is also a fingerboard master. yes you heard me, FINGERBOARDING. Well i never heard about it until today either :))
I dont now if Carlos invented this, but he rocks at it, enjoy :))

NHL Virgin

I was an NHL virgin, not any more......)

My first NHL game is history and what a game it was. LA Kings which is my team....well when in Rome and all that :)) was down 1-3 against the Boston Bruins. That and the fact that my friends is Boston fans made it hard to smile :))

And here comes the magic, I told my friends(after couple of coronas) that LA Kings will win this, and not only that, I also told them how its going to unfold. I said that with 13min left of the game LA kings would score 2-3. They scored with 10min left, so just 3min off. I also said that LA Kings would equlize with 3min left and they did. To top of the whole thing I stated that LA Kings would win the game in a shootoff...and they did:)) Man I should work on a freak road-show or something :))))

I hade a really funny week at Dreamworks. If you follow my blog you would know that I missed the opurtunity to work on "how to train a dragon" due to imigration issues. Well I kinda got lucky last week, cause they needed some help and I was happy to lend a hand:) Now it was nothing big and spectacular, just small backgorund stuff, but still just being part of that movie however so small is an honor....that movie is like nothing I have seen before...its awesome!!!

the first of February I will joining the "Mega mind" team, and that is scary,,,why? well I have seen the first shoots that has been done and it loooooks amazing, so I need to look alive here :))

As if that wasn't enough, Rasmaus had his first Baseball tryouts today, he was great. I'm so proud of him.

so whats cooking in animation

Well...

DreamWorks is aiming to put out three movies per year and all the movies is in stereoscopic 3D. Actually DreamWorks have said that all there movies in the future is going to be in stereoscopic 3D. At the same time Disney looks to its roots and puts out "the princess and the frog", I guess that is not going to be in stereoscopic 3D :).
Now why is Disney doing this? I mean besides wanting to make money. The marketing for this 2D flick has been massive, I have seen pretty much every big power-honchos at Disney on TV talking themselves warm over this "new" movie in "old style" animation. Well I cant figure it out. Will we see a re-birth of 2D animation? Will I have to dust of my pencils and start drawing again? hmm I don't think so, but I guess time will tell:))

BlueSky is working hard on there new movie "Rio", as far as I know that is set to be released in 2011 so I guess BlueSky is not aiming for the "more the merrier" concept. I do however like that meatball movie, although I think the character look to much alike, it gets to me after while.

Pixar is "hot on wheels" with there movie "UP". Everyone tells me that it's going to clean up at the Oscar. It might even, so I'm told, win the price for best movie overall. That would be great, its a great movie.

I saw "planet 51", from the Spanish animation studio "Iion", less than 3weeks ago. I must say that its a lot better than the reviews was. I totally like it, and so did my kids. I just wonder if this is an example of territorial dispute, I mean the Americans are more or less the top dogs of major blockbuster 3D animation movies, and given the state the economy maybe the American review writing dudes are looking at foreign animation with their patriotic American eyes, who knows, probably not....or? ::))

Sweden.....what about Sweden, you might ask if you are Swedish:). Well there are some things bubbling in that far of cold northern country....I have good friends snaking around, planing devious plans and if the planets line up when the moon is full, then just maybe we will see Sweden finally produce a 3D animation movie, I mean a full budget one, there has been attempts but without some serious budgeting you wont get a good movie.

So the Future? Well it looks bright, the 3D animation biz haven't yet had its first total flop and the movie entertainment biz overall is hitting an all time high in money making. So lets just hope everything works out for everybody :))

Well I must say the the year 2009 is one hell of an year..

I have gone from planing a feature(still am) to travle across an ocean to the big pice of earth called USA and started a mission at Dreamworks..
I have nothing but love and praise to say about dreamworks, and will fight anyone saying anything else:)) seriously, DW is great and I urge anyone like me to focus its attetion towards DW and if it dosent turn out great I promeise to buy you lunch, it free at the Dreamworks Campus :)))

Its absolutely the best place I have ever worked on. Thing is that somehow even though many people here right now are in "crunch mode", they still have a smile on there face. I hope I will have that when I go "crunching" :))

the beutiful waterPond, the fish seem to like it here and so dose the squerrls. I wouldnt mind to be resurected as a Dreamworks rodent...all thought I would have to get use to all the pokey animators trying to find out how my body mechanics works....freaky those animators :))) (pic stolen)

Just to prove that I'm not all about animation, here is how the best meatballs are done :) (and yes I fight anyone to prove it:)))

With thousands of different uses I can think of (well I only thought of three or four:) I never would believe you could kinda animate with it.

Big week

I'm going from denial, passed trough the agreessive stage and just done with the depression so I guess next week is going to be the acceptance of Dreamworks animation tool EMO...
Well in all honesty its not that bad, actually its really good, it just takes time to find the goodies :)))

As i said before I have my show now, and I must say it was a great moment. I mean for some its just a job for me its a dream come true....and yes its even more strange getting this dream full filled in my age :)))

woopiiee!!

I got assigned to my first show(movie) today.
The show is great, but I cant say which or what it is about :/

I got a bit starstruck the other day when I ,all of a sudden, was standing in the same elevator with the legend James Baxter. Luckily my friend Mike was there to introduce me. I was seconds away from going -"hhhelooo Mr Baxter, can I touch you" or something like that :))) So a handshake later I was smiling like a six year old kid....I tend to do that a lot these days.:))

Slowly we are settling in here in LA

I must say that I really like LA, well the little I have seen so far is great. People are super friendly and I love peanutbutter :))
We just got our cableTV installed, but its not working, so I only have the 30 or so, normal channels, instead of the 200 or so digital ones :))) crazzzyy

Work is slowly coming together as well, I fell really luckey to have gotten the opurtunity to work with all the super-talented people at Dreamworks. That place is top-notch from the top to bottom....

A very good friend of mine just came over to LA to interview for a job at Blizzard, I really hope he gets it(He will:) and move him and his lovely family over here.....soon we can call it a Swedish invasion :))

Okay week 6 is just in the horizon..so..its..time.....aawwahhhh...to...zzzzzzzzzzzz :)

Training is over

So the training weeks are over. Have I learned everything to be learned, am I felling confident that I will be a great asset for Dreamworks, well let me put it like this.....NOOO :))
But this is always the case with me, I need this "rush" of insecurity. It's like John Cleese once said, "every morning I wake up, terrified that people have discovered that I'm a fake"..:))) thats how I'm going to feel when i get my first shoot on monday...:))

Our new place

well its actually more to the left, but I placed that camera a bit off and almoste didnt have time to run back....I'm a slow runner okay!! :-)

Its great to finaly have a "real" place to live...the appartments we rented temporarley was really good, but its dosent give you that "this is my place" feeling :-))
Well this little house dose....its really nice and I do think we will be very happy here..

Family at Dreamworks

Had my family over for a "bring your family to dinner" day at Dreamworks. It was great, my kids really loved the beutiful campus, but the thing that stood out for my kids whas the icecreme machine thay had....when they saw that they got something religious in there eyeas....
Don't think I ever heard them agree on anything until then, they both agree that my job is great......much thanks to the icecreame machine.....:-)))

first one: Man my wife Helena can take pircure, this one brings me to tears every time..

On the trip here the kids where true heros, they made this 15h trip into something the felt more like 14.5h :-) nnnaaaaaaa they wehere teriffic...

Now we are now on US soile, and we are trying to get trough the LA traffic, which is not easye I tell you :-))

well that's some bits and prices, we have been invited to our first ever thanksgiving dinner next week....I should have some niiice reveling pictures from that to reevel to ya all.....)

My first week at Dreamworks is ended, and it has been a overwelming week. It's obvious to me that I need to say goodbye to my darling Maya and embrase EMO. EMO is Dreamworks animation tool, and the first week has all been about learning EMO and the vast pipeline that dreamworks have and I guess we only touched the tip of the iceBerg..
I think I will grow to like EMO very much as soon as I stoop thinking in terms of "how would I do this in maya" :-)

The crew at Dreamworks are scary talented. They all are soo freaky good and the show "how to train a dragon" looks like nothing I'v seen before....I cant see it be nothing else than a BoxOffice Killer!!
Sadly enough I dont think I will be out of "training" soon enough to get a shot on the feature movie, but I will do some trailer stuff, and if you wanna look positive on that fact the trailer is actually seen by more people that the movie will be :-))

Now I need a cold bear two,...or ten :-))

First day

Well the first day at Dreamworks is over, and I must say that I couldnt be happier. Great people, great food(free by the way:-)), great facility...great everything:-)
All people at Dreamworks, may it be H&R department, animation crew, gate security, you name it. They have all been so nice to me......I'm afraid to wake up to realize this is only a dream:-)))
Sorry if I sound like a kid on Christmas, but hey I feel like a kid on Christmas:-)

I meet the "Dragon" team today and I saw some amazing scenes they made, and I definitely think this movie will blow you away. Its clear to me that I'm surrounded by a team of super talented people. I really need to bring my AAAAAA and A+ game to get my old beeeehind up the the quality thees dudes are putting out. I probably end up giving the director a brown envelope containing money each month to get my shots approved.....:-)))

Got a fast introduction to EMO (DW's animation tool), and in spite of all the rumors about this software I actually kinda think I'm going to like it :-)

well need to get some sleep, busy day tomorrow..

The Eagle has landed

well for all you out there that is old enough to understand the title, kudos!! :-)

me and my family landed safely on Friday and I think the flying actually was much safer than the taxi ride out of LAX:-)). We have moved in to our temporary home at Oakwood appartments. It's really nice with a pool, hotTubs and tennis courts...So I really have to shake off this hollyday felling I'm in right now, cause tomorrow its my first work day at Dreamworks.....yeah...scary :-))

I actually made a "drive by" yesterday at the Dreamworks facility. The guards looked at me with suspicion, I hope they let me in tomorrow....

If I look dorky it because I feel very dorky :-))
