Disney shops for Marvel

WOW!! hmm not really sure what to think about this, read all about it here....
I have been a superhero fan for all my life, yes I am a little disappointed that I myself actually never developed any superpower..but I never thought that Marvel would be bought...there is no logic in that assumption only pure heart....Disney, I love them to, but in a very different way. Now they are married, and I don't know what to thing?? :-)

arrrrrggghhghghghg............waiting for this must be the worst experience ever, EVER!!!!. I have to say though that Dreamworks are totally fantastic in there support and the way they have organized the whole thing is truly amazing...

Cant Bellive it,

I got the job at DreamWorks
Its such a strange feeling, I have been waiting for this for 12years, and finaly I got it..I'm in Zombie mode right now:-))

..sure I need that dreeded Visa but that is out of my control and as of now it looks good...so I cant do much than hope for the best :-)....for now I'm going to live happily in my Zombie world :-))).

Yes....it will take Dreamworks one to two weeks to decide if I'm in or out...
I'm not a gambelieng guy , I just try make the game turn into my advantage...

so this is the first of a (X) miniparts series of ideas to get in to Dreamworks Animation
First one: the "blame it on the cleaning lady" ....well its starts with me getting a "NO we hate you Tommie" letter from DreamWorks....so I just rush down to CA, meet up with some DW frineds of mine. With some doubtful planning we probably would get a hold of the cleaning lady's adress. she would be the last to be cleaning the "submission room". Then we, the "doubtful forecee", would make her, by means not known to man, to tell the code to the "sub room". After that its just a switch from "send this Swedish dude to hell" to, "I love this kid, hire him, why the hell didn't we hire everyone in Sweden", and we live happy all after......well at least me :-))

thats Plan one.......keep posted for more plans(IF needed...mooahahhaa)

the waiting is worse

Jeezz....I though having the video conferance would be hard, but I was wrong. Waiting to hear how it went is far worse.....

well, instead of freaking out I spent sometime checking whats been bubbeling in the 3D world latley...First off...that is very hard to do, its so much, and to be frank, not very exciting.

One of the few things that actually excited me is Blender 2.5. I really love the whole thing about Blender. XSI got snatched by Autodesk, and now with its and Maya2010 releases that feels more like a update than anything else, blender is a bright spot. I mean COME ON, its 16meg big, its for free, and it more or less has everything the big guys have, and surpass them in many areas. Blender your time has come!! :-)

cant think of much else exciting stuff.....jeez..help me out here, is it me or is our biz in a boring state right now??? god I miss waiting for releases like Lord of the rings and KingKong!!

Video conferance with Dreamworks

havent been that active on the blog the past weeks.....truthfully I have been a bit absent latly. The reason: I got a mail from Dreamworks telling me that they liked my reel and wanted to setup a video conference call with me....that call was today(thursday)....
My very first Video conference call. Great, with DreamWorks (cant find big enough words!!!).
Happy as something with feathers I strutted around for like a day, then I started to think: but conference calls are really visual and personal and in lack of a better word......reveling :O
Well it was to late to think plastic surgary and the chicken-suit rental service was closed. Panic struck, I have no unique selling points...Okay, okay I need to find out to how to behave on a conference call. Its time to hit the internet, the answer to the mystery must lie deep within the millions of servers out there . 48 hours later the core-advice found in this vast system of networks was "BE YOURSELF" be myself???? Hell, I have been waiting for this call for like 12years....be myslef...could I just be myself???? hmmm... I already stopped eating when I got the email, a week back, and had trouble seeing straight, turned colorblind so it was clear to me that all my senses was failing. Would this wreck of a human/animator be adequate to be presented as himself...... well I went there as myself and I think I was okay, they didnt pull the plug and so far I havent gotten any death threats or restraining orders....and that must be a good thing..:-))

Well seriously,,, it was really great. talking to this people, heroes in my eyes. I mean they have made more movies together than I ever will in my life time....ohh that is a scary thought, and a humbling experienc:-)))

And to Fabio, Simon, Kristof, John and Jason...big thank you for making that hour a very pleasant one..


So now at least its kinda out of my hands.....I can only hope for the best
